How we work

How we measure prices, compare devices and put sets together. A store's commission never plays a part.

• How we check prices

  Next to every price on Glossumi you'll find a Price Check. It tells you where the price stands today, compared with the lowest price we recorded ourselves in the 30 days before. That's our own reading, not a statement from the store.

• How the Spec Index works

  The Spec Index compares beauty devices only by what their manufacturers state: spec sheets, user manuals and product pages. We don't measure anything ourselves, and we don't try out any devices. The Spec Index is a comparison of manufacturer data, not a verdict from hands-on use.

• How we build sets

  Our sets are gift ideas you pack yourself. Our editors pick products that go together, and you buy each item directly from the store. Glossumi doesn't sell anything.

• How the natural cosmetics filter works

  In beauty, you can filter by "With a natural cosmetics certificate". The filter only shows products that an independent certification body has certified. We don't award any seals, symbols or verdicts of our own on how natural a product is.
