About us

Glossumi is a beauty magazine with a price check. We show you when a purchase is worth it, put together gift sets for you to pack yourself and compare beauty devices by their manufacturers' specs. Glossumi doesn't sell anything: you always buy directly from the store.

Who writes here

Our editorial team is led by Karolina Ziółko. She picks the products for sets and recommendations and writes the texts about them.

Karolina writes in Polish. The texts on this US edition are translated into English by an AI tool (Claude by Anthropic); she checks every translation against a back-translation and approves it before it appears. Translated texts are labeled as such.

Tech and operations are run by Maciej Ziółko (Codently Maciej Ziółko). You'll find the company details under Company information.

How we work

• We measure prices ourselves. We compare every price with the lowest one we recorded in the 30 days before. We don't copy crossed-out prices from stores. More on this: How we check prices.
• We compare devices by manufacturer specs. We don't try out devices, and we don't measure anything ourselves. More on this: How the Spec Index works.
• Sets are picked by people. Brands and stores can't buy a spot. More on this: How we build sets.
• No health promises. We write about skincare, makeup and devices without promising effects a cosmetic product isn't allowed to claim.

How we make money

We take part in affiliate programs, mainly through the Awin network and the Amazon Associates Program. If you buy through a link marked "Ad*", we earn a commission.
