Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use glossumi.com and its free features, such as My List and sets. Glossumi doesn't sell anything. That's why you won't find any rules here on shipping, returns or product warranties; you get those from the store you buy from.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

(1) Glossumi is run by Codently Maciej Ziółko, a sole proprietorship of Maciej Ziółko under Polish law, os. XX-lecia 4 lok. 16, 32-340 Wolbrom, Poland ("we", "us"). All details are on our Company Information page.

(2) These terms apply to all features of glossumi.com. By using Glossumi, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

(3) How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy. How we make money and label ads is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.

(4) You can open and print these terms on this page at any time.

2. What Glossumi is and what it isn't

(1) Glossumi is a free information service. We show beauty products and beauty tech with descriptions, prices from our own price records, deals, comparisons, rankings and sets, and we link to stores that sell these products.

(2) We are not a store. We don't sell or deliver anything and we don't take payments. We don't enter into contracts in your name or in a store's name. When you buy a product, your purchase contract is only with the store. Ordering, delivery, payment, returns, warranties and customer service are governed only by the store's terms, and the store is the one to contact.

(3) We earn a commission from stores on purchases made through our links. Your price doesn't change because of it.

3. The free features

(1) Website. You can read all content and use the product search without an account. There are no reader accounts.

(2) My List. You can save products and sets to My List by tapping the heart. My List is stored only in your own browser, not on our server. If you clear the site data in your browser or switch to another device or browser, your list isn't there.

(3) Sets. Sets are put together by our editors. You buy each product yourself from its store (section 6).

(4) Glossumi is not directed at children under 13.

(5) We don't offer a newsletter, price alerts or reader accounts yet. Before we start any of them, we'll add the rules for them to these terms.

(6) We may change or discontinue single features of Glossumi.

4. Technical requirements

(1) You need a device with internet access and an up-to-date browser. Some features, such as My List, need JavaScript.

(2) For My List, your browser must allow Glossumi to store data on your device (local storage).

(3) We do our best to keep Glossumi available at all times, but we can't guarantee it. Maintenance, technical faults or outages at our service providers can cause interruptions.

5. Prices and availability

(1) Prices on Glossumi are our own records from the affiliate networks' product data and the stores' interfaces. With every price we say when we recorded it. Between our reading and your visit to the store, price, availability, shipping costs and promotions can change. Only what the store shows you when you buy is binding. Sales tax and shipping are not included in our prices.

(2) Information such as "lowest price we recorded in the last 30 days" or "Price low" is based on our own readings. It isn't a statement from the store, and it's no promise that the price won't drop further.

(3) Where we show a price from Amazon.com: product prices and availability are accurate as of the date and time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon.com at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of the product.

6. Sets

(1) Sets are suggestions from our editors. Glossumi doesn't assemble, pack or ship any sets. You buy each product in a set from its store, on that store's terms.

(2) For sets with products from Amazon, you can put all products in your Amazon cart through Amazon's official cart form. You only decide on Amazon.com whether to order. For sets from several stores, you buy in each store separately.

(3) The total shown is the sum of our latest price readings without shipping costs. It can differ from the actual total price. Single products can sell out or change.

7. Discount codes

Discount codes come from the stores' affiliate programs. We pass on the conditions the store gives us. Whether a code can be redeemed, and on what conditions, is up to the store alone. We can't guarantee that a code is still valid.

8. Content and product information

(1) Product descriptions, ingredients and technical specs come from manufacturers, stores and affiliate networks. We haven't tried the products ourselves. We check the information carefully, but we can't rule out that it is incomplete or out of date, because manufacturers change formulas and devices. The information on the packaging and in the manufacturer's documents is what counts.

(2) Our content is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, a dermatologist or a pharmacist. If you're prone to allergies, have sensitive skin or aren't sure whether a product or device suits you, read the manufacturer's instructions and, if in doubt, ask a professional. This applies especially to devices such as IPL devices and LED masks.

9. How to use Glossumi

(1) Use Glossumi only within the law.

(2) You may not disrupt the operation of Glossumi, get around security measures, or fetch content and price data automatically beyond normal reading, unless we've allowed you to.

(3) Wherever you can enter text, for example in a message to us, you may not send unlawful content.

10. No warranties

Glossumi is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, about the website, prices, discount codes or product information, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some states don't allow implied warranties to be excluded, so some of this may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

(1) To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or savings, arising from your use of Glossumi. This includes differences between our prices and the prices in the store, and discount codes that don't work.

(2) To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to Glossumi is limited to USD 100.

(3) Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury we cause, or any other liability that can't be limited under the applicable law.

(4) Only the store is responsible for the contracts you enter into with it and for its products and services.

(5) These rules also protect the people who work with us and on our behalf.

12. Links to other websites

Glossumi links to stores and other websites. Only their operators are responsible for their content. If we learn of unlawful content on a linked page, we remove the link.

13. Copyright and trademarks

(1) Glossumi's texts, methodology, design and graphics are protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with credit and a link. You may not copy whole texts or our price data without our permission.

(2) Product images, brands and logos belong to their respective owners.

14. Questions and complaints

(1) If a feature doesn't work as described or you want to complain about something, write to us at kontakt@glossumi.de. Please briefly describe the problem and, if you can, name the page concerned.

(2) We reply within 14 days.

(3) Please send complaints about orders, deliveries or products to the store you bought from. We're happy to help you find the right contact.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when features, service providers or the law change. The current version is always on this page, with the date from which it applies.

16. Governing law and disputes

(1) These terms and your use of Glossumi are governed by the law of Poland.

(2) If you're a consumer living in the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of your state. The choice of Polish law doesn't take that protection away.

(3) If you're a consumer living in the United States, you can bring a claim against us before the courts where you live or before the competent court in Poland. We'll bring claims against you only before the courts where you live.

17. Other provisions

(1) If any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies.

(2) If we don't enforce a right under these terms right away, we don't give it up.
