Five questions for any Black Friday price
What did it cost in the weeks before?
A crossed-out list price is the store's own reference, not proof of a lower price. Compare with what the item cost in the weeks before the sale.
What does it cost per ounce?
The unit price shows whether the big bottle or the set really costs less than the single size. Minis are worth a closer look.
Is it exactly this model?
With devices, the model number is what counts. Sets with a case or extra attachments sometimes carry a model number of their own; compare model with model and check what is in the box.
What can the device do?
A big discount does not make a device better. The Spec Index shows you temperature, weight, heat-up time and more from the manufacturer's specs before you look at the price.
Do you really need it?
You save the most on what you would buy again anyway and on gifts already on your list. Some stores do not take back opened beauty products; the store's return policy says what applies.

Black Friday 2026: common questions
- When is Black Friday 2026?
- On Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 26, 2026). Black Friday is always the Friday after the fourth Thursday of November.
- When is Cyber Monday 2026?
- On Monday, November 30, 2026, three days after Black Friday.
- Is the Black Friday price always the lowest?
- Not necessarily. A crossed-out list price is the store's own reference; compare with what the item cost in the weeks before the sale.
- What do “Sale, per the store” and “Price low” mean on Glossumi?
- “Sale, per the store” means the store marks the product as on sale itself. “Price low” means the price is below the lowest we recorded ourselves in the 30 days before; that is our reading, not the store's claim.
- How is the order of the devices decided?
- From manufacturer specs only, with fixed weights per category. Price and commission do not count. The weights are on the Spec Index page.
- Why is there no price here?
- We may show Amazon prices only through Amazon's interface. Until we read prices ourselves, the store shows the current price.
